A new dimensions of Vityas

Together with tractors and dumper trucks from Belarus, Vityas TV sets have become a "visit card of the country'', as one usually says - these sets are proudly shown to foreign guests and being sold far abroad. The products of RUE Vityas have become one of the top 100 products made in country; their quality is awarded with government bonus. However, the enterprise is undertaking the ambitious tasks, to obtain a good name not for the sake of TV goods only.

Within more 30 years, the enterprise from Vitebsk has been fortunately producing TV sets, corresponding with the latest world standards. The policy of the enterprise has always been directed on dynamic development of the manufacturing process, improvement of consumer characteristics, reliability and design of products. For years, hundreds of models have been produced and each of them has been the perfect example of quality for that period of time.

Today, RUE Vityas is still one of the leading TV manufacturers in CIS region. To keep this position, one has to go constantly forward; continuously modernize the manufacturing capacities; update the model line; increase the set functions.

The competition between TV producers have been increasing from year to year, new TV plants appear, and customers demand more and more - however, it is true to say that the enterprise copes with these tasks.

At the edge of great changes

Director in marketing and quality of RUE Vityas, Aleksei Zhukovski says, "In the conditions of modern market, it is hard enough to struggle for the right to be claimed by customers - that is why our enterprise chose the manufacture diversification as the strategic direction of our activities".

Vityas is intended to become recognizable not only by TV sets, but also by it's medical devices. "We are planning to become one of the leading brands in the production of modern hi-tech medical equipment" - says our interlocutor.

Many people associate the trademark "Vityas" with TV sets only; however, the enterprise has been producing the medical equipment for more then 15 years and got a great experience at the market of medical equipment, in the area of sterilization, lab equipment, physic therapy instruments. RUE Vityas runs the independent research and manufacturing of modern medical devices. There is serious theoretic and production base for such production formed. Above that, for maximal comfort of consumers, the complicated service net provides guarantee and post-guarantee repair.

The main principle of "medical" department of RUE Vityas is the creation of highly reliable and steady products. Professionals create modern and quality goods; each stage of manufacturing process is controlled by specialized computer systems.
The serious intentions, to become a leader in the production of medical equipment are confirmed by that, that the enterprise uses only advanced import and homemade materials and components, which are carefully monitored and tested.

Medical equipment produced by Vityas has already been supplied to most of CIS countries, first of all in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. Germany, Israel, Poland, Slovakia, Czechia, Latvia are among our buyers, too.

From words to deals

Several years ago, it was made a decision about the research in the area of inexpensive therapy and creation of special therapy device, which could conquest the markets of many countries.

After studying many modern medical developments, they chose a new treatment mode - quantum therapy, whose invention had been awarded by Nobel price. As a result, the engineers of RUE Vityas together with the specialists in medicine created the small unit for quantum therapy. The treatment with its application is based on the impact on cells and tissues by magnetic and electric fields of a special quantum radiation. It is considered to be able to cure 200 different diseases and more.

The device appeared to be quite successful. Only in Moscow and St. Petersburgh, they sold approximately more then 2 000 pieces on amount of 200 000 USD. The batch of these devices is prepared for shipment to USA.

Above that, the enterprise produces high-tech equipment for medical institutions - for instance, dry heat chambers for thermal processing of materials in the hot air environment, for sterilization, disinfections and hot air drying of surgical instruments and glass utensils.

The specialists of RUE Vityas together with the employees of General Hygiene and Ecology Board developed the bactericide air recycler for air disinfections in the premises. The range of air recyclers GP-20, GP-40, GP-80, ShST-20, ShST-40, ShST-80 with chamber volume 20, 40 and 80 liters, provides different modes of sterilization and drying. The brilliant performance allows using it not only in medicine, but also in different production and agriculture branches.

The device with tricky name " Immune ferment analyzer (photometer)" is the unique and very important unit for health care systems. It can be used for express diagnostics of AIDS, hepatitis and other diseases, at blood transfusion stations and other medical establishments. It might also be applied in microbiology labs for identification of microorganisms or determination of their sensibility towards different antibiotics, for which special methodic and computer programs are developed.

The future is opened for innovations

According to Aleksei Zhukovski words, the main purpose of RUE Vityas is to become one of the noticeable examples of realization of new economy politics of the state, oriented on innovations and the introduction of new technologies. Vityas is going to make a great step in the way of distribution on foreign markets, implementing new technologies and introducing know-how to manufacturing process.

"At the moment, we are starting the production of new steam sterilization chambers - the whole range of these devices is ready for manufacturing. With these and other devices, we are planning to come out to the market of EU countries" - underlined the director in marketing and quality.
Here's one more device - the universal photometer for sanitary establishments; it sees the infection and diseases not only in blood, but also in tissues, in grains, in vine. It can be successfully used at custom offices, while running the photo sanitary control.

However, the production of TV sets remains the main task for the enterprise. At the moment, 90% of products are TV goods. It means that the success depends directly on that, how well the TV sets are being sold. To increase the profitability of the enterprise as well as the share of exporting products, the volume of production for the rest of products is to be increased from 10% to 30%. The creation and development of medical devices, as perspective direction of medical equipment, should play the meaningful role here.

TV set as the main product

TV sets are still playing the main role in the life of RUE Vityas. The enterprise produces 12 models of TV sets and about 70 modifications with different variants of design and function set.

In 2006, Vityas is planning to present 10 new designs of TV goods. Liquid crystal sets (LCD) of 15", 20" and 32" are also expected to appear. The enterprise purchased the manufacturing line for production of LCD set boxes up to 50''.

Above good consumer qualities, Vityas sets have always been marked for their original design. For instance, box color is different for all models - from traditional black, red, white or green, to unusual gold, lemon or sea wave. They will perfectly match the interior of any flat, looking well both in the kitchen, bedroom, kid room.

It is important that, in view of technical parameters and quality, Vityas TV sets can successfully compete with well-known foreign analogues. They also have an advantage of being very plain in control, as their interface is intuitively understandable. Two-level setting menu allows using all the features without any efforts.

Vityas holding

Currently, the enterprise already resembles the real holding. Due to state support and meaningful investment, Vityas has great perspectives in future development. One of the new directions of its activity is the production of building materials. For this, the enterprise obtained the plant producing the pavement tiles and facture stone for facing of the buildings. About 60 % of this production will be exported.

In the next year already, women of Belarus will receive traditional spring bouquets from the real gentleman named Vityas. The enterprise has the intention, to start growing flowers, which are supposed to be not worse than that from Holland.

One of the typical features of everyday Vityas activities is the constant search of interesting and promising directions. Due to its authority and popularity achieved in Belarus and other CIS countries, other products of Vitebsk enterprise will rightfully find credence buyers.
